Memories, Real and Imagined: Creative Writing Workshop.
Memories, Real and Imagined: Creative Writing Workshop
Presenter: Rahla Xenopoulos
Bring a Pen and an Open Heart … This Creative Writing workshop is designed for published authors as well as people who have an idea or a yearning to write but might never have picked up a pen. It can be used for a novel, memoir or for an adventure into a piece you don’t yet know.
We will work with:
Poetry – your own and some that will be provided
Memories – distant and recent, real and imagined
The natural environment on the island
You will work on:
Silencing your inner critic
Finding your own voice
Writing authentic dialogue
Conceiving, creating and crafting scenes
And you will gain insight into the publishing industry.
Expect the unexpected from yourself and your writing.
